Happy Birthday card

My aunt turned 77 today and I made her this slimline card.

The cheerful design paper is from StudioLight (Friendz, Shop Till You Drop).

The stamp & die of the cat and the corresponding text is from Carlijn Design (CDST-0162 & CDSN-0345), just like the stamp and die of the envelope with the little hearts (CDST-0026 & CDSN-0009).

The slimline die with the 3 hearts if from Lawn Fawn (#LF2477).

I coloured the cat and the envelop with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor een vriendin die onlangs haar pols heeft gebroken.

Het papier dat ik heb gebruikt is van Studio Light, Friendz, Better together. De leuke stempel met bijpassende tekststempel is van Craft Emotions, Beterschap 1. En de verschillende snijmallen die ik met elkaar heb gecombineerd zijn van My Favorite Things (MFT-0849 Stitched circles), Lawn Fawn (LF1443 Stichted squares en LF2733 Small Mini Slimline Stackables) en Carlijn Design (CDSN-0079 Vierkanten).

De stempel heb ik ingekleurd met mijn Faber-Castell Polychromos potloden, nummers: 177, 180, 182, 183, 184, 185, 231, 189 en 193.

As you like it challenge: Favourite Die (and why) >> alle "stichted dies": vanaf de eerste keer dat ik een "stitched die" zag, was ik meteen verkocht. Ik heb dan ook allerlei formaten en vormen van deze snijmal. Het geeft voor mij net dat beetje extra, waardoor het niet saai is.

I made this card for a friend who recently broke her wrist.

The paper I used is from Studio Light, Friendz, Better together. The cute stamp with matching text stamps is from Craft Emotions, Beterschap 1. As you like it challenge: Favourite Die (and why) >> all"stichted dies": from the very first time I saw stichted dies, I loved them! Since then I bought all kinds of sizes and shapes. The stichted edges just give that little extra to a die.
