Unfortunately I cannot visit the cremation of my sweet colleague, who unexpectedly passed away 2 days ago, so I made this card for his parents and his sister.

Happy Birthday, Happy Valentine

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor Alida. Wij zitten bij elkaar in het volleybalteam, maar we scrappen ook wel eens gezellig samen :-).
Zij is morgen, op Valentijnsdag, jarig. 

I've made this card for Alida. We are volleyball team members, but sometimes we also scrapbook together :-).
Tomorrow, on Valentine's Day, is her birthday.

Onlangs heb ik bovenstaande kaart gemaakt, welke meedoet aan de challenge van Creative Knockouts, met als thema "birthday wishes".

Gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag

Op 2 januari is onze computer gecrasht en er stond helemaal niets meer op de harde schijf... Dus in plaats van een inhaalslag met Project Life te maken (ik had de foto's al print-gereed van 6 weken), was ik vooral bezig met het terugzetten van bestanden van onze back-ups (helaas was mijn laatste back-up van ruim een half jaar geleden) en het terugzetten van foto's vanaf het fototoestel.
Dus, ik ga nu toch in ieder geval 1x per maand een back-up maken ;-).
Verder hebben we nu Windows 10 (we hadden Windows 7) en dat is ook erg wennen, maar ach, het komt allemaal wel goed :-)

Vandaag kwam ik eindelijk toe aan een scrapkaart maken.
Deze doet mee aan de volgende challenges:

Heel erg bedankt

Allereerst wens ik iedereen een heel gelukkig, gezond en creatief 2018!

Mijn bedoeling is in ieder geval om dit jaar meer te scrappen, mede omdat dit mij veel ontspanning geeft en ik zodoende minder (werk)stressgevoelens hoop te zullen hebben.

Een andere toekomstige stressfactor zal onze tijdelijke verhuizing zijn: vanwege de aardbevingen in de provincie Groningen is ons huis (en alle andere huizen in mijn dorp) geïnspecteerd en het blijkt dat alle huizen aan de linkerkant van onze straat platgegooid zullen moeten worden (omdat dit uiteindelijk goedkoper blijkt te zijn dan het verstevigen van de huizen). Maar wanneer dit allemaal gaat plaatsvinden is niet bekend. Ik ga er optimistisch maar vanuit dat we over 3 jaar in een mooi, nieuw huis zullen wonen, waar ik natuurlijk een mooie scrapplek voor mijzelf ga opeisen :-).

Via het scrapforum SNN (Scrappen Noord-Nederland) ga ik aan een aantal uitdagingen meedoen, zodat ik hopelijk goed in de scrapmood blijf ;-).
Ook heb ik een Canon Selphy gekocht, zodat ik zelf mijn Project Life foto's kan uitprinten, waardoor ik van plan ben beter bij te blijven. Nu hoef ik alleen nog maar de jaren 2015, 2016 en 2017 verder uit te printen via Albelli o.i.d. en dan zijn die albums ook af :-).

Bovenstaande kaart heb ik vandaag gemaakt (ja, ik begin het jaar goed!) en het doet mee aan de volgende challenges:

First of all I wish everyone a very happy, healthy and creative 2018!

I want to do more scrapping this year, also because it gives me relaxation and so I hope to have less (work) stress feelings.

Another future stress factor will be our temporary "moving house": because of the earthquakes in the province Groningen our house (and all the other houses in my village) has been inspected and it seems that all houses on the left side of our street should be destroyed (because this seems to be cheaper that strenghten the houses). But we don't know yet when all this will happen. Optimistically I guess that within 3 years I will live in a beautiful new house, in which I obviously want to claim a beautiful scrap place for myself :-).

Via the scrap forum SNN (Scrappen Northern Netherlands) I will join a couple of challenges and so I hope to stay in the scrap mood ;-).
I also bought myself a Canon Selphy, so I can print my own Project Life photos. Now I can keep up with PL. And now I only have to print (at a photo printing company) the last couple of photos of 2015, 2016 and 2017 and then I can finish those Project Life albums as well.
